Default Back from the Oregon Coast Trip

After close to a 1000 miles spread out over 8 days we made it back with bad colds but safe and sound. Besides the beautiful scenary of the Pacific Coast and Central Oregon, perhaps the highlights of the trip was our amazing luck in stumbling upon great blues and rock bands in obscure bars along the way. We did not go all the way down the coast as planned because we found a little town called Yachats,OR that we liked so well that we stayed there several nights at a great hotel called the Adobe with reasonable rates and all the amenities right on the rocky shore line. There was plenty to see and do in the area including the waterfroty area in nearby Newport. We finally had to had east to Bend over Willamette Pass for the 4th of July celebrations at my sister's farm for a few days then back home over Mt. Hood.

Awesome pics. You're a lucky man to live and ride in such a beautiful part of the country.

Yes,indeed,we are lucky to live where we do. Mountains, desert, and the Pacific, all within a few hours of western Washington. I'm glad you all enjoyed a glimpse of what we have out here as I enjoy the pictures of places I have not been, yet !

Ditto that one!

It's so beautiful. There are so many places I've yet to see. To have the ability to ride through that part of the country would be absolutely fantastic. I suppose we have to have things to dream about.

Thanks Skuuterdude for adding to my list of things dreams are made of. Your pics are great.
