Default A few Words for some Forgotten Lady's

well I'm almost off to bed work comes early, but this poem was asked by ladys from a womens shelter and they asked if I could write a short but to the point s they could lean on,so this is it and this is the first time posted anywhere except the original, I sent the lady's(also if anyone who is losing some one or has lost someone close to them I will sincerely write a poem on your behalf,U just have to email me and we can go over what you would want said in the poem It will be your poem and will go no farther unless u decide to post it L&R,,,Wayne

Listen for the Silence

He pulls into his yard,
.,Wondering want he wants,,
Looking over his palace,
Get ready to give his ol;lady taunts,

He orders her to get him some food,
And Now to get a beer,
As she cringes with fright,
And complying out of fear,

Shes been hit to many times,
A slap and a cuff there,
She feels so helpless
It just doesn't seem fair,

But she loves the man ,
And to scared to leave ,
We need to lend her a hand,
Give her some room to breathe,

It takes a snake of a man,
To abuse a lady,
When we look in his eyes,
He seems nothing but shady,

We need to help her,
And set these animals straight,
Maybe a backhand or two for him,
And then kick his ass out the gate,

This happens far to often,
As her silence it goes unheard,
We need to open our eyes,
And see the viloence that occurred,

In ending,listen for her silence,
As she has no voice,
And we can speak for her,
And then maybe she'll have a choice,

Thank you. That is more appropriate than you can ever imagine. There is a better life after if women can just find a way out.

There is a fine line, indeed so Very fine, between staying because you believe you Love someone, & staying because you think there is truth to the "it is your fault".....
