Default Front Axle Help

03 Heritage Springer. I screwed up. Took off the front wheel to get a new tire and kicked the parts box. Can't figure the re-assembly order of front axle spacers. Only thing I know for sure is the direction axle goes in and where the nut and cotter pin go

Default Re: Front Axle Help

Been a while since I messed with a springer front end, but I believe the copper/bronze shims go on the brake side of the wheel and the long silver spacer goes on the clutch lever side of the wheel... The shank portion of the axle will make up the spacing on the brake side....
