How are these things on the carb Harley's? My fuel tank had a bunch of crap in it. So much that I didn't figure I could use compressed air to clean it up well.
My Indy shop recommended the Pingel Fuel Cock as opposed to replacing the Harley screen. Said it's provide more fuel - but it's going to free flow. So, I think I'll have o remember to turn it off every time I put her in the garage. Anybody with experience with these things? |

I have a pingle, it is a step up, and yes you should get a sticker for your bars that says....turn the gas on stupid <BG>
It won't just gush if left on, but if left on overninght or something you can expect a puddle in the driveway...don't ask <BG> |

I gots one too. If the needle valve in the float bowl is working properley, then the carb shouldn't overflow.
There has been a few times leavin the bar and forgetting to turn on the gas. Kinda embaresing when it happens in a first, second and third gear burn out. The moco vacum assist petcock was a pile of crap on its best day. I had problems with mine after I started building my bike. The pingel is the best way to go. |
