OK almighty tech gods...Buddy of mine just put screamin eagle slip on's on his 02 bagger. Pops all the time on decelleration. I am "asuming" it needs to be rejetted?? It does have a stage 1 already installed. What number jets would be a good start???

The popping on decel will never go away as long as the stock headers are being used on a Harley bagger. The "y" pipe on the rear jug allows cold air to be sucked into the cylinder when RPMs drop (and before the exhaust valve closes), which in turn causes the popping on the next combustion cycle.

Dynojet make a nice little kit with a needle jet, clip and main jet specifically for the TC88 that is bang on the money for a stock mill with the breather opened up and a set of slip-ons.

Hope that helps.

Yepper, and add the "thunderslide" with it while you are in there. Makes the bike allot more throttle responsive...

Most Harley dealers carry it. JP Cycles, or any of the internet co's..

Note: read the directions and it will tell you which jets to use out of the kit..

Come on Pappa, didn't ya know about the official Hawgzone process for fixin' and maintain' bikes?

Step 1 - consume beer

Step 2 - locate tools

Step 3 - consume beer

Step 4 - take apart bike

Step 5 - consume beer

Step 6 - find tools dropped in tiny crevaces

Step 7 - consume beer

Step 6 - try to put parts on

Step 7 - consume beer and think about why parts don't fit as hey should

Step 8 - consume beer and figure out why part don't look like they did when you stared out

Step 9 - consume beer and post on Hawgzone asking "what the Hell happened?"

Step 10 - wake up in morning and go "Aw shit"

LOL!
