BRAZORIA — The roar of motorcycles heard through Angleton and Brazoria this weekend will herald the ninth annual Robbie Spivey Toys for Angels toy run as people bring gifts for needy children in Columbia-Brazoria ISD.
The event kicks off Saturday when motorcyclists line up at Goe Cycles in Angleton and make their way to the American Legion Hall in Brazoria, where there will be a barbecue cook-off, auction and raffle, organizer Cissi Schneider said.
The motorcyclists, led by the Surfside Gypsy Motorcycle Club, will leave from Goe Cycles at 11 a.m., she said.
“To enter the toy run it’s one toy per rider or $10 for each rider and $5 for each passenger,” Schneider said.
