The sunmart near us in Goodrich on hwy 59 was shut down because of this. Made the front page of the local Livingston rag.
I had only been in there a couple times but I will never shop there again Even if they fix all the pumps correctly, I won't go back there on principle. Fuck me once, shame on you. Fuck me twice, shame on me.
I do however feel sorry for the local independent merchant there who has no control over the pumps, just collects the payments and recieves $.01 per gallon.

Bastards. I heard some pumps are now jumping 50 cents, or so before any gas comes out of the nozzle and actually noticed this a few weeks ago in Toronto. Bunch of crooked SOBs.

I just found an old country gas station that doesn't demand your wallet before turning the pump on.. was kinda cool Even nicer was when I walked in to pay, I was offered a cold glass of water for me & my "nice looking lady friends"...lol.. Everyone was friendly, chatty & Decent...
Then it was Back to the regularly scheduled channel...
