Default What's your most recent good deed??
We hear about all these people saying they have helped people or they have done something for the homeless or some crap like that or donated to cars for college, when mainly they just want a tax rebate or some crap. But, why not give back to those who have given us so much to live for and look forward to and those who actually need it. No not the homeless needing "money for food" aka "i really will be buying booze but am too afraid to ask". I'm talking about our parents. Dad had his comp screen since I think when computers were first invented!!! LOL! :grin: :lol: :mrgreen: but now he has an LG 19" LCD HD monitor!!! And grandma now has a bad ass IPOD but mainly its nothing like letting someone you kno you love them and are proud of them!!!

LOL! Yeah, I'm sure its saving my dad's eye sight since he is always looking at his cell phone to see who is calling with his arm stretched out infront of him LOL!

Several years ago, I just decided to pay back a little of all the help my Pop had given me, so instead of a tie or something for his birthday, I scrounged and scrimped to get him a DeWALT Heavy-Duty 12 (305mm) Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw (pretty much the mac daddy of Miters). He's quite a do it yourselfer (built the house I grew up in, etc etc etc) so a true quality tool like that was something he'd always use, but he'd never get it for himself.

Felt good to do that for him.

The real trick in giving, is doing something nice for somone and not letting them or anyone else know about it. One of the greatest feelings in the world!
