... Snow Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to midnight CST tonight...

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Snow Advisory... which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to midnight CST tonight.

An upper level system will combine with a cold and moisture rich atmosphere to produce snowfall along and north of Interstate 20 this evening and tonight. Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid and lower 30s by this evening as the snow begins to fall. Temperatures will continue to fall through the night and accumulations of one to three inches are possible with the highest amounts occurring closer to the Red River. The snow is expected to begin to taper off after midnight as the upper level system pulls out of northeast Texas.

Most of the snow accumulation is expected to be on grassy surfaces and elevated surfaces. However... some travel difficulties may occur on bridges and overpasses.

I'm with you Kelli, this morning it was 71 degrees and now it's 55.
Supposed to make 36 here tonight. Atleast I have a little sun on my shoulders from the ride on Saturday. It was gorgeous.
I always said: "Texas is a state of extremes, it's either extremely cold or extremely hot. It is extremely wet or extremely dry, never just right!"
While we don't see negative temps, for what we are used to the 20's & 30's are plenty cold for us warm blooded Texans.

Hopefully we'll actually see some snow here .. never can count on it .. even when they forecast it! LOL

.....and like the idiot I am, I was in shorts today ops: was pouring this a.m. when I left, rainned all the way to Galveston, then most of the way back, got to the yard was 36 freakin degrees :sad: and as Ms. Kelli said, started the snow shit on my way home, SUX! Glad we got out yesterday :grin:

This is fucking awesome .. we got like 1/2" on the ground already & flakes about 1" big!!
