Let's get together more this year, Texas!!

Of course anyone is very welcomed to attend.

Yesterday opened my eyes. We had 10 bikes yesterday from most parts of Texas, except Austin. That was a quickly half ass planned lunch at the end of December.

Buffalo, TX is very centrally located for East Texas, Houston, Dallas, and Austin. Or Fairfield or Palestine. 75% of the Texas population is within a 2 hour ride of Buffalo.

I say we have a monthly lunch ride scheduled. If make it you make it and if you don't you don't.

Also I did some research of couple of years ago and know there is an outstanding place we could all stay on Lake Limestone with cabins, BBQ pits etc. That is close enough for a Friday evening after work trip, a Saturday ride with beer drinking, ending with a BBQ and an easy trip home on Sunday.

I just showed this to Linda and we are both ready to shuffel off to Buffalo!!! I have not been to Lake Limestone in years it's a beautiful lake..So count us in !!!! :grin:

Buffalo for lunch sounds fantastic! Just set it up and we'll be there if we can. I really hope to get a chance to visit and ride more with friends from here this comming year.

I know Shadow and I have not made many of these short trips last year but our resolution this year will be to try and make more of them. :grin: He said that you have a great idea going there George and that we will try to make as many as we can. :grin: I work Friday nights now for my parents since my moms knee surgery so if I get enough notice maybe I can find someone to work for me for the trip to the lake. Just let us know.

That is really brilliant but simple...George you have done it again. It sounds like a great plan and a wonderful way to stay in touch. I think Elly and I can swing something like this to get away on a regular basis. Thanks for the great idea, I think I remember where Buffalo is, and It seems to be centrally located for such an event.

Sounds kewl but my problem is and will always be - I dont get off work until Saturday morning at 8am .. Now with a little notice I can try and get off so just post the dates ..
