Bigshovel takes out a Scion.
Bigshovel takes out a Scion and never drops the bike.
That's right. The Scion ran the light and Jon couldn't stop. He never dropped "Black Betty" but came close. Jon sez that it was an even match up (As far as the weight goes), but the Scion lost the battle, and Betty was ridden home. She has some damage, and has a real bad attitude, cause the driver took off from the scene. Fortunately, there was a HD behind him with that dudes wife behind him. They took pursuit after the Scion and boxed him in. Along comes Bigshovel sliding up to the drivers door and starts to pound on the window as the driver starts to climb out the passenger side. The cops showed up. The dude has no insurance, but wants to take care of it with cash. That's all I know bout the incident. Jon is OK, and at work as I write this. He sez hi to those of you that count, and nothin to those of you that don't. As far as the party at or around his place this spring. It is still on. I will be buying my plane tickets next week, and will be posting in that thread at that time. Cheers.

Glad to hear Jon, and Betty made it through the ordeal to ride another day! Good thing the cops showed up when they did :wink:

Glad to hear Jon is ok. I hate that Black Betty was damaged but I'm really glad he wasn't injured. Hit and run with no insurance.........I can't stand people like that!!!!!

If anyone can fix Betty it's Jon, and I'm glad to hear he's still here to fix her.
Like Speedman said, bike can be replaced, people can't. Jon - if you need any help - I like crushing beer cans. That's all a Scion is.
