Just shy of a year. . .

like the title says, Trad and I are just shy of a year of living in Texas, and I gotta say, I am so happy we are here. While my wallet has gotten thinner, my life has gotten so much richer. I miss my dear friends from L.A. and living a mile and a half from the ocean, but what I have gotten here in Texas means so much. A lot of that has to do with you wonderful people including the New Mexicans (much different than a new Canadian or whatever the PC term is for the tribes in Canada). I want to thank you all for welcoming us into your state and your hearts---of course how couldn't you, Trad and I are diggable like dirt---

Thanks guys, I can't wait to see you all next month. I plan on partying hard with y'all in Hill Country. In fact, my tongue will probably be making an appearance or two can't promise I'll eat a hot dog.

honey, once they knew me the great hospitality they have shown me was guaranteed--I'm wonderful to be around.

Once they met you, the great hospitality they continue to show you is damn near amazing.
