Default Motorcyclists Prepare to Ride to Work

Local motorcycle enthusiast Marilyn Luder will join thousands of other cyclists across the United States in observing the Sixteenth Annual Ride to Work Day Wednesday, July 18.

Texas - Luder sees this as a chance to bring more awareness for those who choose motorcycles as a form of transportation.

“I just want the general public to be more aware of the bikers on the road and that there are more of us out there than people think,” said Luder.

The Ride to Work Day is set-aside for scooter and motorcycle riders to raise awareness in five different areas:

Yep - I have the little flier hanging up outside the office door. Of course, those guy know I usually ride to work. But the 18th is a day I try to get everyone to ride.

Actually I've been riding to work pretty consistently for the past few months. But since I'm the only rider where I work, I'm pretty much of an army of one. :woo:

But I'll keep up my end of it here for the cause, count on that! :motor:

I rode today like normal, I am glad the rain has let up some. 5326 miles on the new bike. been running with the trip odmeter on and missed my 5k check. guess what I will be doing this weekend
