FM 390 runs from Burton and comes out at Hwy 105 between Navasota and Brenham. Great little road, beautiful country.

You should try the William Tell road just outside of Independence.
In Independence there is a little store that sells longnecks for $1.50 and has a deck outside the back to sit and visit. We stop there everytime we ride 390. The Burton Cafe is always a great place to stop and eat too while doing this ride. They are closed on Sundays, but stop in one day and have the roast beef plate. Almost as good as Grandma's.
