Default Smoking ban won’t hurt biker rally

GALVESTON — Some opponents of the city’s newly adopted ban on tobacco smoking have been wondering aloud whether the restrictions would be the last straw in the city’s already strained relationship with the Lone Star Motorcycle Rally.

But Ron Limbock, the event’s founder and promoter, said the smoking ban wasn’t an issue for the event, which will be held the first weekend in November. The smoking ban will take effect Jan. 1.

Maybe not this year........can't believe a tourist toen like Galveston would chose that route. Many/Most cities in Texas are fucked in the head on this issue though
