if you end up needing to burn a couple vacation days i was thinking of going the long route home through big bend again after HCR. just a thought. it sure was hot last time though.

No biggie. Was just going thru the 2009 planning thread & didnt know if you and/or the original instigators of the event had something planned or not.

I'm not personally signing on for any event planning outside of our normal vacation schedule this year 'cause I got too much going on with getting my Dad's affairs in order, house packed up & property sold.

We've considered that as well - we plan on taking that entire week {leave on the 2nd or 3rd}, but heading to Big Bend first, the coming back up for the hill country run before heading home. Could do it the opposite way & just ride with ya :grin: We'll see what Gzr's work schedule allows & let ya know
