Default 2009 Ride Planning

As we are quickly approaching the end of the year, I thought I would toss out what I know and/or assume to be for 2009 so we can begin firming things up & I can get my personal calendar straight

Obviously we would like to plan on many more lunch rides next year, as well as attempt a Blue Bonnet Run to at least Kerrville or something.

Easy Rider Bike Show - February 7th
assuming same weekend

St. Pattys Day Gold Rush - March 14-15
assuming same weekend

West Texas Swap Meet - March 27-29
assuming same weekend

Strokers Spring Fling - March 28-30
assuming same weekend

River City Bike Fest - Boerne - April 10-12
assuming same weekend

Mom's Crawfish Boil - April 18th
assuming same weekend

Hawgs of Texas Rally - Sommervell - April 22-26
assuming same weekend

AHDRA - Ennis - May 2-3
assuming same weekend

Duckfest 2009 May 9-11
I know this was cancelled last year but I'm sure folks are still interested in riding the Ozarks again
This one will be on indefinite hold, as Duck is moving to West Virginia in Jan. 09

Party in the Pines Longview - May 23-25
assuming same weekend

ROT Rally - June 11-14

Sparks Bike Week - June 19-28

Dickey Bob Frog Run - June 21
assuming same weekend. this is also Fathers Day so we'll have to wait until they post their date

Sturgis - August 2-9
As is stands now, Gzr & I plan on riding to Sturgis this year

DFW VI - September 4-7

Bikes, Blues, BBQ - Fayetteville, AR September 23-27

NHRA Fall Nationals - September 26-27

Las Vegas Bike Fest - October 1-4
Gzr & I may take a serious look at this one since we've been wanting to go for 3yrs now.

SRV Memorial Ride & Party - October 3-4

Hill Country Run VI - October 9-11

South Padre Bike Fest - October 9-12

Strokers 14th Anniversary Party - October 9-11

Kenora is great. Always had a good time there. lots of bikes up there. Its part of the loop around the lake. The roads are great getting there. I can't think of the name of the bike route but a well known one. Sorry bleach blond moment. You will love Sturgis been there twice now. Some of the best riding around

Just tossing out stuff -- used last years events we listed as a starting point.

Hoping everyone will jump in so we can see what's on folks' mind for riding or rallies & get agreement on dates for our major events next year.

Since I only get 2 weeks off, and 1 will be used for the surgery, we won't be making very many rides this year  Not to mention $$$$
