Overniter ~ August 4th

Gzr & I are currently planning on a run to the Talimena Scenic Byway this weekend. We havent been in a while & cant stand it any longer. LOL
If any of ya'll are interested post up. It will be a beautiful ride!

Talimena Scenic Drive

HeadDoc ~ We'll only be 150mi away .. in case your out for a ride that weekend

Our current plans:

Depart the metroplex: 6am
Breakfast: Durant or Atoka
Ride: Head for 'dem Hills And drop into the County Line Bar
Lunch: Somewhere in Mena, AR
Dinner: Pete's Italian in Krebs, OK
Layover: McAlester, OK

Will be a 376mi day on Saturday from DFW, and about an 80mi day home Sunday.

We wont book a hotel in McAlester until Wednesday to ensure the weather will be accomodating.

This one was a wash for us Gzr's been way too busy with work to get too far away.

We did get in a nice little ride to Grandbury Saturday.

just saw this...sorry i missed it because i would enjoy riding with ya'll again. i rode a ronald mcdonald house poker run over in okc, which ended up at the remington downs racetrack/casino. some lucky smuck won a brass balls bobber..but it wasn't me damnit. great charity and a great day though.
