Ride to Red River Hd

Just figured Id post a short ride / lunch invite for anyone thats bored next weekend . Saturday 06/16 Im taking a ride to Red River HD in Witchita Falls to have my bike dynoed . Probably stop somewhere for lunch and have a cold one or 2 as well . Kickstands up at 10am as my appointment is at 1:30 pm .

Its about a 2 1/2 hour ride so Im leaving at 10 am so I can stop and have lunch somewhere before making it there .. 2 hours at least for the bike to be dynoed . Looking at 6 - 8 hours roundtrip ..

Not sure of a good meeting place unless ya wanna meet at the gas station across from Mc Donalds on Collins before 20 ...

I am going to Mississippi, but here are a couple of suggestions.

You want to go I-35W to Hwy 287 and take 287 to Wichita Falls.

Decatur has a great Mexican food place on the left about half way through. You can't miss it and when you see it and get to the left to turn back it is perfect best I remember.

Decatur also has O'Harlies Fish House on through town on the left. Both are quite good and get the fried pickles if you go.

I think both have cold beer. I know the fish place does.

As far as meeting you can meet several places. The Dairy Queen in Rhome. Fort Worth Harley on 820 a little out of the way. Longhorn Harley. Texas Harley. DFW Honda. A bunch of fucking places. Hell's knows the way to Azle if you want to meet in Azle. He can give you directions from DUke's in Bedford if you want to meet there.

Ok the nice Chinese lady just brought supper. Enough suggestions!!

I guess to make it easy , anyone that wants to ride can meet me at Longhorn Hd at 10 am . Im hoping its not raining Saturday like the weather guessers are predicting . If it is raining I'll have to try and do it another time ..

Longhorn is having a huge sale Saturday. FYI, the name of the Mexican restaurant George spoke of in Decatur is Armondo's........... it doesn't look like we will be going, it is Sherrie's BD, plus Mike.........
