I use to haunt this place on a regular basis when I lived in Houston and Temple..It's also a nice day ride from Austin...Lunch you can usually walk in and be seated but evenings Fri-Sun. I would call ahead or for groups.... Be careful what you order ck the weight on your steak on the menu... Burgers are 1/2 Lb. and an extra small T-bone is 1-1.5 lbs. an goes on up from there.. I wasn't paying attention one time and had to bring home about half a cow :shock:

if i ever get back to texas and can start to visit all these places Curley knows i'll probably have to find a doctor that can put me on 40mg of lipitor or more a day. You and GZR really need to write a book on southern resturants.

At one point some time ago several of us talked about doing a steak-house tour. For breakfast, lunch & dinner. LOL Then we'll ALL need 40mg of Lipitor hahahaha!

LOL More to come i'm gonna list a few more...If they have web sites... Be sure they have been tested by me... When I ride somewhere there is going to be a fork involved at some point.... :lol:
