Man miffed by dress code at street drags

KINGMAN - A Kingman man says he was asked to leave the drag races downtown over the weekend because of his motorcycle vest.

Sam Kormos, 43, said he was at the Napa Racing Kingman Street Drags VI event Saturday for about an hour when he was approached by several security guards and asked to leave because he was wearing a Harley-Davidson vest.

Kormos, who is not affiliated with a particular motorcycle club, said he had not been disruptive during the event, which he was attending with his wife. He said he was singled out and publicly humiliated simply for the way he was dressed.
