Nestled in a pocket of Lake Elsinore that’s zoned unincorporated is a motorcycle shop and restaurant that sits on the path of one of the most traveled cruiser and sport bike routes in southwest Riverside, Highway 74.

Specializing in the Harley-Davidson parts and service market, Menace Motorcycles’ eye-attracting terracotta-painted building is about 300 yards northwest of the Ortega Highway on Grand Avenue.

“From the outdoor patio customers can get a bit of a lakeside view, sit safe on the side of the highway to watch traffic and take in the towering beauty of the Ortega Mountains,” said owner Loren Minnis.

“I have neighbors that I keep happy,” he continued. “We don’t have any problems with our neighbors. Many of them are either bikers or have family members who ride.

“And I have to say the county staff has done the best they could in the process of helping set us up as a business; it went really smooth with them. Thank you
