Ride, BBQ set to help Auburn fire victims

A motorcycle run and a barbecue are planned to raise money for people hit hard by the 49 fire in Auburn.
Both events, sponsored by the NorCal Motorcycle club, are scheduled for Sept. 13 at the Norcal Motor Co., 2630 Grass Valley Highway.

The motorcycle run is scheduled as a 100-mile excursion through the foothills with stops along wth the way. The run, $20 for per driver and $15 per passenger, starts between 8:30 and 10 a.m. and ends about 3 p.m.

The barbecue will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
