Georgetown County Council members are discussing amending ordinances that would limit the number of vendors at motorcycle rallies.
Georgetown County officials said they are concerned because May traffic on U.S. 17 Business increased in Murrells Inlet during the Harley-Davidson Cruisin' the Coast spring rally, after Myrtle Beach instituted restrictions including a motorcycle helmet law and noise ordinances.
The council could have amendments in place before the start of this year's fall motorcycle rally later this month.
