Squirrel & anyone else planning on going ~ it has officially been cancelled. I hope everyone will make sure they write to these two assholes regarding the verbiage of their reports.

What a bunch of pussies........"motorcycle riders don't know how to act"......I am sure that some may not act in the most appropriate way, but that is common in any public gathering! People are not always going to see eye to eye, but why take a rally away which is supposed to be fun, just for fear there may or may not be some sort of "outbreak"! I guess some people don't know how to handle a little bit of tension!!

It is a shame that a rally which is supposed to be fun will now be forfeited, but sometimes people can't look past their differences if even for just a little while.

Thats a nasty little story
![]() What happens when a million dollar dream goes bust? Just ask Dave Harvey, the founder and promoter for the Heritage Motorcycle Rally. Last week Harvey announced that he was canceling the Charleston South Carolina rally and the Million Dollar Bike build-off due to his inability to secure a 5 million dollar liquor liability policy for the Exchange Fairground where the April event was to be held. That announcement caused a flurry of emails to start flying between the promoter and the builders involved. When a disgruntled Eddie Trotta discovered the event was cancelled, he emailed Harvey and threatened legal action. Trotta said he has almost 100K invested in his bike for the Million Dollar build off and stood to lose money now that the event was cancelled. Trotta made it plain he didn't believe insurance played any part in cancelling the rally. Full story Here |
