The Hot Springs motorcycle Rally September 13-16th
This is a super rally to attend. H.O.G. moved their rally to Ft. Smith and the locals took over the date and would'nt give it back to them. Man did H.O.G. fuck up. This is a good time to see Arkansas... Linda and I are going to try to make this one for sure!!!

LOL. Gzr & I attended the Hot Springs Rally back in '05 to have a reason to go ride that area
 But when we saw the literature that said it was moving to Ft. Smith -- we blew it off the next year. We may have to keep this one on the backburner & sneak on over there

The HOG rally was a big bust in Hot Springs this year. I think it was due to the heat. The rally was always in Sept. It was always warm but not to the point it made you miserable. The Hot Springs rally use to be the biggest in the U.S. If I am not mistaken, the total count was down almost 4000 people this year from the 05 rally. When the rally was moved to Ft. Smith for 06 the city decided not to miss out on the extra money the rally brought in and made their own "ALL BIKE" rally. It is bigger than the HOG rally now and the entertainment looks to be better this year.
I don't believe the HOG rally will ever be back in HS again. From what I understand the city is determined by the dealers. With the new dealership (Pig Trail) also in on the voting in addition to Jonesboro and FT. Smith, it will probably never leave N.W. Arkansas again. Especially after the miserable heat and date that is available in Hot Springs being a factor.

I think they had over 8000 folks last year. Looks like it will be bigger this year. Send me a PM if you guys decide to come up Mike. We have our house on the market right now. If we are still here you are more than welcome to stay with us. Course you might have to fight the Schnauzers for bed space. :wink:

Just moving down to Bismarck. Only about 20 miles away. Only bad thing is its only 2 bedrooms and one of them will be full of PC's and Angelas beads!
