Default Bike Friendly Hotels/Motels

Dock's Hotel-Townsend, TN-- this is one of our regular places we stay when riding in the Smokies. Easy access to the Dragon, Foothills Parkway, and about an hour and a half from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The Windsurfer Hotel at Myrtle Beach, SC is a great place to stay. I stay there whenever I go to Myrtle Beach. Cynthia works the desk before 2pm on week days. She'll take care of you.

During bike weeks, they do have a three night minimum. Some of the features they offer is a hose, soaps and clean rags to clean your bike, covered parking, and 24 hour security (during bike week).

Plus, the location is just South of what was the Pavilion (demolished Winter 2007) so it's right in the middle of everyone cruising the strip. And seems to be fairly centrally located between some of the Northern most vendor locations (Barefoot) and the Southern most vendor locations (Suck Bang Blow, Murrels Inlet, SC.

One of the most attractive qualities though is Cynthia and some of the other employees. Always nice and always greeting you with a smile. Even after a day traveling by bike.
