e-mail notification

Just sort of curious.

Yeah, I know VP access and all, you'd think I'd know the answer to this. But I couldn't find an option, and I'm not certain of Speedman's enhancement ability or pending list.

But, thinking "Bluesky", I'd be nice if we had an option in our profile to get an e-mail whenever someone posts a new topic in the "Introduce Yourself" forum. That way we could go in and great them to make them feel welcome?

I'm getting old and I can't remember what I did yesterday, much less if I greeted someone properly.

We only have the option to send a notification email on a particular thread and not an entire forum. It's a good idea and I'll look into it further, but this would definitely be a unique customization.

Yeah, I do that to, but it never fails, I'll get a Firefox update, close my browser window, my laptop battery will die, or I'll just have to walk away (Like when Mungo Jr. tries to lick an electrical outlet) and my session will time out. Then I wind up missing a lot of new posts.

I get an e-mail now when a new member joins. I like that, and it's what gave me the idea, but my term as VP is just a couple short months. Then those nice notifications will end.

Don't work for my , My Browser updates too much. Many times I hit "new post" and it's blank
