It's a conflict of interest. If somebody has power on more than one site that is of a similar nature there are far too many opportunities for misunderstandings and potential abuse.

That's cool. I was just wondering. Now that you mention it I don't really see the connection but there are a lot of things I don't see with my condition. Oh well.

Think of it this way John - if a problem happened with internal sabotage on a site - anybody who was a mod on another type of similar site would be suspect. That's just one example of many conflicts that could occur.
