Just something I noticed the other day, but you do Not have to log in, to read (mostly) all that was posted.. you still see who posted what.. was wondering if one ought not have to be a member to read posts in here?

Most sites are like that I think Kate, maybe it's to let people sample the work, and see if they want to participate :lol: Bet SM , or somone could answer that better though :wink: I know I pop on the old site, now, and then to see if anything is happening there, I never log in, can read everything, but no posting, or pics.......

It doesn't really bother me at all. Anything I say here, I will say in person to that person. I've never tried it, but I've always assumed it was that way except in private mails and forums that require membership.

FB05 and piff are correct. Other than the supporter only forums everybody can read the content at Hawg Zone. That being said, people have to be registered and logged in to post in any forum here.

If we didn't allow read access the search engines would not be able to index the content and we wouldn't be ranked in any search results.

If I couldn't browse a site and get a feeling for what it was about, I certainly wouldn't sign up there.

This site is the only exception to that. I was told about it from a friend who I trust, so I signed up sight unseen :grin:
