Default Canada, U.S. agree to use each other's troops

This is an interesting development.

NAU is fine by me as long as the Mexicans are excluded.

Who decides what is an "emergency". Does it just apply to catastrophic events of nature? Can civil disobedience be defined as an emergency?
If it is okay for the Canadian Army to cross the border, at what point will it be okay for the Mexican Army to cross the border. As far as I am concerned, this is just more evidence that we are headed for a North American Union.

I don't know, I think most of New Orleans would have liked to see a Canadian sniper picking off those ghetto Trash fuckers who were shooting at the coast guard helicopters, who were trying to save people's lives....would have made me a PROUD Canadian <BG>

I was okay with the original free trade agreement, which was exclusively between the U.S. and Canada.

However, when NAFTA came about and brought in the Mexicans things changed for the worse in my opinion. I see a lot of good things coming out of cooperation between the U.S. and Canada on a daily basis, but I see zero value including Mexico at the table.

American and Canadian troops have been working together closely for as long as I can remember, but I honestly can't think of a single instance of Mexico contributing anything to the betterment of the U.S., or Canada whether it be militarily, economically, or otherwise.

:ditto: That is exactly how I feel also. They snuck Mexico in on NAFTA and my biggest fear about this agreement is that the same thing will happen. I am all for complete and total cooperation with Canada, but feel that Mexico is nothing but an anchor that will drag down any economic, or military alliance.
America and Canada are already so similar in so many ways. Our militaries have always cooperated well and both countries are about freedom and justice and hard work and integrity, whereas Mexico is about state run everything (socialism), and coruption, and entitlement.

I would have cheered Canadian paratroopers picking off those scum bags shooting at the Coast Guard in New Orleans :lockedandloaded:

What I really wish would happen is for our two countries to form the ACA (American Canadian Alliance) and get the fuck out of the UN!

Seems to me our present govt(US) is more like Mexico as far as socialism, corruption and integrity.

I certainly don't like the direction we are headed in, but I don't think we can hold a candle to what goes on in Mexico as far as those subjects are concerned.

If we dont want NAFTA, CAFTA or any of that shit .. then you need to immediately eradicate McCain from your brain cells. His "Hispanic Outreach Director - Dr. Juan Hernandez" is a dual U.S.-Mexican citizen who until 2002 worked directly with Vicente Fox as part of his cabinet

I agree the NAU would be fine if we get rid of the Mexicans.
