Anyone else hear that Vinnie (the only guy I can tolerate on the show) is leaving them? I personally think that he is the only one with any brains in the bunch!!! :???:

I don't mind Rick either but I have to say I haven't watched it for a long time either. Just can't take the Teutal bullshit all the time. They tend to act like a bunch of spoiled little kids which I have no respect for. They definitely do not show any kind of work ethics which younger kids could learn from. With the exception of Vin and Rick that is.
Just my opinion though!!! :???: |

Eh fuck 'em.
I quit watching them when they we're riding a bike for a build off, and they had an issue with the exhaust. The fix was going to hamper changing the oil, and Paulie, Sr. said, "Fuck that, we build them, we don't maintain them." I changed the channel as soon as I heard that and have never flipped it back. But yeah, Vinnie was the only level headed one of the bunch. Productivity will come to a halt with him leaving. The rest of them whine, bitch, moan and groan rather than build bikes. |

yes, vin is gone. it sucks after 5 years to see him go. i have watched american chopper since the beging and still do. i have always like the show. they all are very talented guys. the black widow still my fav bike ever. if kids look at tv for work ethics we're all in bad shape. i hope my son gets the idea of work ethics from me before tv. even with vin gone i'll still watch the show.

Yeap, I got a link to an article about Vinnie's decision to move on about a month ago, Cody left as well. people change, shit happens
I know it's quite popular to bash the shit outta these guys, and also quite amusing to do so. But in the end, you have to look at for what it was. Traditionalists who have built bikes from scratch for years, have little respect for Paulies, attitude and lack of mechanical skills, of course that's what Vinnie was for, and to be honest he had avg mechanical skills, compared to some other folks I know. But a couple things you can't take away from Paulie, 1 he did his fair share of fabricating in the earlier years, he had a lot of experience working with metal, and 2 his creative mind. Paul Sr, with all his personality faults, has a big heart, and donated a lot of his time and money to charities, and to me that goes a long way in judging any man. He had been building bikes since the seventies, and working with metal long before that....he is a smart business man, and no one can take that away from him. The bottom line is, they are a huge success, I don't particularly like there brand of bikes, but in the end more power to them...maybe someday when I start building my own bikes from scratch I can have a more validated opinion of them, but until then....they have done more, and know more then I do...and have made themselves a huge success, so more power to them. Oh and Mikey makes me laugh LOL |
