1 gal = 3.785 liters
1 liter = $1.15
$1.15 X 3.785 liters = $4.35 per gal

about 2.85 on average for unleaded at the moment here in Texas, I pay 2.78 at a station between my house, and work :sad:

Just to clarify your $4.35 is in Canadian funds per U.S. gallon. If you convert the dollar at today's rate that equals:

$3.92 USD per U.S. gallon in your neck of the woods.

I got premium for my bike last night for $1.11 per litre, which equals:

$1.11 x 3.785 = $4.20 CDN per U.S. gallon = $3.79 USD per U.S. gallon.

They had regular grade for $1.01 per litre, which equals:

$1.01 x 3.785 = $3.82 CDN per U.S. gallon = $3.45 USD per U.S. gallon.

We're still getting fucked. My truck didn't move from last Thursday until yesterday. I'm riding my bike every chance I get to keep my gas bill down.

By the way ... barely a week ago regular gas was ~$0.90 CDN per litre here.

$0.90 x 3.785 = $3.41 CDN per U.S. gallon = $3.08 USD per U.S. gallon.

The bastards have raised the price almost 40 cents (in U.S. funds) per U.S. gallon in a week. Nice eh?

i paid $3.09 agallon last night at the indian reservation. they dont have to pay any of the state or federal taxes on it so they are making a killing even though they are about a nickel lower than stations in town.
