Event: Ride for Autism

Where: Ambler to Philadelphia, PA

Sponsored by : Lucky Seven Motorcycle Club and The Center for Autism

The Lucky Seven Motorcycle Club will host its inaugural Ride for Autism on Saturday, April 7, 2007. The event, which will benefit The Center for Autism, a non-profit autism treatment center, will begin at Wissahickon High School in Ambler, PA and conclude at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA. Lot "P" off Darien St. More than 1,000 bikers from the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas are expected to ride in this event, which will take place during Autism Awareness Month. All proceeds raised will benefit The Center for Autism and its services for the autistic community in Philadelphia. About The Center for Autism The Center for Autism was founded in 1955 by child psychiatrist Bertram A. Ruttenberg, M.D. Operating as a private, non-profit specialized clinic, the Center offers comprehensive evaluation and intensive treatment to individuals with autism and their families. The organization also provides consultation to school districts, counties and rehabilitation centers serving autistic people of all ages throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. About The Lucky Seven Motorcycle Club Established in 2004 by active and former volunteer fire fighters in Ambler, Pa., The Lucky Seven Motorcycle Club (L7MC) is incorporated as a non-profit organization. The club shares a passion for the sport of motorcycling and participates in numerous charity events throughout the year. The L7MC continues to enjoy the freedom of the road and raise money for families with disabled and chronically ill children.
