Defenders Run

The Military Combat Defense is holding the Defender Run to raise funds to be used in the legal defense of American troops charged in capital crimes arising from a combat situation in Iraq and Afganistan. We believe in the fundamental decency of our troops. If they are charged with a crime we believe they deserve the best defense possible. The registration begins at 10:00AM at the Main Gate of the Fore River Shipyard 115 E. Howard St. Quincy MA 02169. Ride starts at Outlaw BBQ on Route 1 in Foxboro with registration from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Ride fee is $20.00 per person. The 1st Annual Survivor Run

The 1st Annual Survivor Run was established to raise money for the Brain Tumor Society. It will be held on July 14th at the Outlaw BBQ on Route One in Foxboro, MA. Registration is from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. The run will be approximately 40 miles, returning to the Outlaw BBQ for food, fun and live entertainment performed by Crossfire.

July 14 (Saturday) 8th Annual Tyler Ride Poker run to benefit Tyler Ricard who has Duchenne Muscular Dystophy. $20.00 per person with all the proceeds going to the Tyler Fund. To help with the cost of all the specialized equipment that Tyler needs for what the insurance doesn't cover and let me tell you its not a lot. Register at the Westford VFW on West Prescott Street between 8:00am--9:45am. Ride leaves the VFW at 10am SHARP. The ride is through scenic back roads through Brookline, NH Peterborough, NH Lunenburg, Ma and then returning back to the Westford VFW (more info about the stops at a later date) for food, drinks, raffles and live entertainment from Tequila Mockingbird. Cash prizes for best and worst poker hand. Come join Tyler while he rides in a sidecar on this day long event. All Bikes Are Welcome.

We are having our 9th Annual Breast Cancer Run this year on August 19th, 2007. The Ladies Of Harley inside Blackstonevalley HOG Chapter are in charge of putting together this run. This is a rain or shine event, so we welcome all to this gathering! All independent riders are welcome! You do not need to ride a Harley to participate. It is a family atmosphere with raffles, music and our ever famous Steak Fry! The proceeds for this years run are too be announced. Registration begins at 10:00 and the run leaves from Precision Harley Davidson Dealership at 269 Armistice Blvd. Pawtucket, RI 02860 @12:00 and follows a scenic route to the North Attleboro Elks where we serve a delicious lunch and lots of fun. All of our local Police officers make this a safe and successful ride. Breast Cancer has effected so many families that we would love your support in making this years ride a success. We would like to have this posted in your June edition if possible. For pics from last years ride if they could go to our web site they can see how much fun we had. This is the first year Doreen and I have done this so if I am missing some vital info I should have given will you let me know? Thanks for your help.

275's Ride for Diabetes Research

7th Annual Ride for Diabetes Research Saturday August 25, 2007 Rain Or Shine! Presented by Carpenters Local Union 275, this day of family fun will begin and end at the Patriot Bar and Grille, 15 N. Main Street, Route 126 in Bellingham, MA. Registration will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with coffee and donuts. The ride begins promptly at 11:30 AM for a one hour country ride thru picturesque country towns returning to The Patriots Bar & Grille in Bellingham. You will enjoy a family style cookout, motorcycle contests, musical entertainment, raffles, and a few surprises! Registration: Will only take place the morning of the Ride. Registration is only $15.00 per person and children under 12 are free and each person will receive a T-shirt. All proceeds to benefit Children's Hospital Boston in Waltham. All donations will pay for diabetic care and supplies for children.
