I am a Cowboys fan. That said the talking needs to be done between the lines on Sundays. Banter on forum boards ain't worth a shit. The Cowboys need to get back to playing smash-mouth football and shut the fuck up.

I would agree the rubber hits the road on Sundays,,,but without the banter between rival fans, and you have no NFL....it's what the game is all about....bragging rights, and abuse....hell it's half the fun!!!

Edit to add: It would be remiss of me not to mention that The words "Cowboys" and " Smash Mouth" Football, should never be used in the same sentence...that's just a crock of shit.....

When you look up the definition of "Smash Mouth" Football...you'll see a Steelers logo...it;s in the blood, it's our history, it;s what makes a Steeler a Steeler.....Cowgirls might as well play flag football LMFAO!!

Not in the Late 70's, and Early 90's. Chuck Howley,Too Tall Jones, Randy White{Manster}Erik Williams, Leon Lett, Charles Haley, Darren Woodson, Ken Norton, Nate Newton, Mark Stepnoski, Charlie Waters, Cliff Harris, Jethro Pugh, Harvey Martin(assassin), D.D. Lewis, Thomas(Hollywood) Henderson, LeRoy Jordan, Mel Renfro, Walt Garrison, Mike Ditka, Roger Staubach, Emmitt Smith, Dan Reeves, need I go on  I don't think even the most avid COWBOY hater could say any of these aren't Smash Mouth......
Since we are dragging up history of our Franchises, let's not forget that the Steeler's of the 70's have been known as the most roided up Lines ever to play in the NFL. I know that hurts since all the COWBOY haters like to discuss all the drugs the BOYS were involved in during their Hey day. Difference being, the BOYS drug problems hurt their performance. whereas, I think we can all agree that the steeler's drug abuse helped them a great deal....
It's one thing being a fan of a Team, at least I'm not a Blind Fan
I LOVE THE COWBOYS, that doesn't mean I have to love everything they do, or agree with everything. I have opinions, and Love posting them here for others to pick apart. I Live for it. MAN I'M GLAD IT'S ALMOST FOOTBALL SEASON :woo: I will be waiting for the response

I just thought Id add something as well . If The Cowboys are not a smash mouth football team Fubar , how is it we have tthe NFL's all time leading rusher ? The Cowboys teams of the 90's was as dominant of a rushing team as there ever was . You rarely saw Aikman pass for over 250 yards because the O line was smashing the shit out of people in the 4th quarter while Emmiitt was racking up the yards ...

99% of Champions in Football are smash-mouth. If you weren't you wouldn't be the Champion.

Great point on Emmitt Smith Hells. If that wasn't smash-mouth with Larry Allen and Eric Williams and Moose Johnson leading the best the NFL has ever seen run a football. Don't forget Stepnoski and the big Hawaiian who's name escapes me. Nobody could stop them, nobody.

Sorry fella's but reputations are born out what the team does on the field...I have never heard in my life anyone ever refer the the Cowboys as a Team of "smash mouth footbal" ...or an "Team of indimidation"..."or a blue collar, smash mouth team"....and I mean never....that is not what the cowboys reputation is....

That is the Steelers rep.....Raiders of the 70's...etc....never the Cowgirls...keep dreamin boys

We will Mikie, and one day maybe the poor slobs known as "America's Team, The DALLAS COWBOYS can be as awesome as the steelers, but I'd take any of those folks I mentioned in any Smash Mouth contest, anytime. BTW, in the 90's if you had been watching the NFL, you would've on MANY ocasssions heard all the announcers referring to the COWBOYS O-Line in just those terms. Even heard them called "Nasty, Dirty, Cheaters, and the one that matter's the most, The Best Ever." Nive try rookie

How many rushing champions have the Steelers had. End of the smash mouth discussion.
