I think Warner is on his game, he has more BIG Game experience than Ben, and is a better all-round QB IMO. The Cards have played above average Defense in the playoffs, not close to the steelers I admit. The things the steelers do well on defense, are things Warner is the best at beating, namely the Blitz. If the steelers choose to blitz him all day, it may prove bad for them, he isn't Flacco, he will burn them with Fitzgerald. I have 0 respect for the steelers Offense, they will need to be on their game to beat the Cards. All this being said, if the steelers are able to intimidate the Cards, it will be an ugly game. But I'm mainly pulling for the Cards because I really like Kurt Warner, as a player, and a human, and I have started to hate all things steelers after reading Fubar's posts  and there is of course one more thing...................the steelers would have 1 more ring than the Cowplops if they were to win

Valid points there Mike but I think this is going to be an ugly one sided ass whooping in the favor of the Black and gold .. I hope it turns out to be a decent game but Im thinking the Steelers defense is going to be too much for the Cardinals offense . They have a way with making good offenses look like shit .

Congrats to all you Steeler fans and (any) Cardinal fans for making it to the big game .. Im gonna say 31 - 14 Steelers ....

Mike you are consistent if nothing else...consistently wrong LOL

I know you didn't watch much of the Ravens game, but the Steelers payed a cover 2 defense almost all day, they were looking for coverage sacks, as opposed to blitz sacks....they were not going to be beatin by the big play down field that did in the Titans.

The Bottom line is that the STeelers Defense is the litmus test for all NFL offensive Teams....I could give a flying fuck what any team does offensively against any other team in the NFL....until you play the Steelers you haven't played the best.

In other words the Cards offense has been rolling in the post season, but that means jack shit, because they haven't played our defense.....just like your arguement for the Ravens having more offense...they only have more offense when there not playing our defense....and we proved that once again, for a 3rd time.

So, is Warner a better QB the Ben, an arguement could certainly be made to support that...there very different QB's.....but here's the point...

Ben is playing the Cards Defense, and Kurt is playing the Steelers Defense....and by ANYONES measure that will favour Ben.

I don't make predictions...bad Karma...never do that...just too many factors in a football game...but I will say this:

If Steelers get the running game going, we will eat that clock like fat kid eats cake....Warner will have fewer touches and he better make good on them when he does.

The one thing that worries me in this game is special teams....we seem to be on the wrong end of some game changing special team blunders....but our defense always bails us out. If we get the runnig game going, and play solid special teams...we are going to be VERY hard to beat.

Steelers will dominate on both sides. I believe the Ravens where there bigest challenge and they proved superior then.

Steelers 35
Cardinals 17

I hear all that you said Fubar, and I noticed you never mention "your" Offensive line, why is that? because they BLOW! I Love the fact I am the only person who believes Warner can slay the giant steelers! I agree with most of what you said, as it has all been shown to be true this season. But that doesn't sway my conviction that the Cards are a way better team than anyone has given them credit for, on all sides of the ball, and that on any given day they can, and will beat the mighty steelers in the Big game

BTW Mike,
as much as I ride you about "your" steelers, I wish the Cowplops were run as well  Y'alls organization from top, to bottom is 1st Class IMO. Team 1st is the only way to run an NFL Team IMO I listen to the NFL Network most of the day, and get to hear numerous interviews of players, and coaches. All the steelers are 1st rate, Team oriented folks. Coach Tomlin is in my top 3 of favorite Coaches. If only Jerry would pay attention to how things are "supposed" to work in the NFL. It really, really sux to be a Cowplops fan since King Jimmy left...........

That being said, I am a huge Kurt Warner fan, so I know he will prevail

OUr offensive line is avg at best, I will concede that...and that is what makes Ben's record this year that much more impressive, it will be a number 1 priority in the off season...can you imagine our team with a top 5 offensive line?? Scary man very scary....

Thank you for your recognition of the Steelers org....you know what always boggles my mind...is that every off season, and even during the seasons, teams watch what is happening around the league and start to try and mirror the successful teams...like the Wild cat this year at least three different teams started to run that offense...and the 3-4 defense, there was a time when two or three teams played that, now it's the majority....but the one thing that the owners around the league do not get is coaches....Steelers have had 3 coaches in the last 40 years, 2 coaches in 38 years...loyalty pays off...we will be going for our 6th super bowl, keeping your philosophy the same, and your coaching staff the same....and even more important the players know that their big salery's don't mean shit to the owner, his coach is his coach period, and what he says goes...that goes a long way in building a top down respect.

Do you remember when we let Plexico Buress go?? No one could believe it, but I just knew there was something wrong with his attitude, or they would have kept him.......you got a big feeling attitude your never gonna last in Pittsburgh...ever

Maybe Gerry will actually put his ego aside, create a culture of respect and consistency, and you will get back on the right track....there's NOBODY I would rather meet in the Super Bowl again then the Cowboys....we Just HAVE to avenge that loss in 95/96....it's the only real blemish on our legacy....but the Cowboys have gone in the shitter....hope they turn it around

The week before the Super Bowl, and all I heard about on the sports channels was the Cowplops woes, How much Romo sux, Wade needs to go, Jerry is an idiot, blah blah blah. Sometimes it really, really sux to be a Cowplops fan

I seem to be about the only person in America that thinks the Cards can sleigh the mighty steelers, gotta Love it

That is true, and yes it is VERY sad, Jerry just doesn't get it ops:

the worse part is some real COWBOYS are having major parts in it. It's put on by Irvin. Troy plus some of their other Teamates from real COWBOYs Teams are part of it

When will it ever end...............when Jerry retires I guess
