Lmao - never thought Id see the day when a player gets suspended for saying something not related to the NHL but its happened to Sean Avery of the Dallas Stars ..

Hmmmm ... sounds like he's been warned & warned & warned about "other" stuff before this being the final straw. Silly of course. I'm pretty surprised its over that remark tho.

I don't see how a League that wants all it's players to fight, worry about a few words. If he had met him on the ice last night, and fought, no biggie :roll: Wonder why the NHL has no fans anymore, I don't! I do however think Avery should've kept his yap shut though, not very classy.....
