I don't get how BCS standings are more important the record against tiebreakers. The Longhorns beat BOTH teams playing for the Championship - in back to back weeks!

I don't see how there could have been a fair decision made here. They should have flipped a coin. As many arguments that could have been made for Texas over Oklahoma can also be made the other way. Tech beats Texas and then Oklahoma makes Tech look like a High School team. No fair way. Either way people are disappointed.

Of course Texas could have beaten Tech and there would be no discussion.

BTW, the Big 12 is the only Major Conference that "lets" the BCS pick their Champion :arg: If we can't have a College Playoff, we at least need that changed :roll:

Weird thing is Texas could very well still be the National Champions. If Missouri beats OU, Texas would play the winner of the SEC for the National Championship.
