I totally agree with you.
This is also what happens to most anyone in the US that gets ill enough, long enough. Unfortunately the benefits run out before the illness does in many cases. I have seen several professional business people who always did the right thing for their communities and corporations only to be screwed when the illness went on and the bills kept piling up. I am not sure how that would work in Canada.
It is sad, but unfortunately the way it is for people with conditions like his.
Damn sad!!
