Default Week #5 in the NFL

Not many games this week that peak my interest.
Maybe Bears v. Green Bay, Chargers v. Broncos{curiosity mainly}, and Lions v. foreskins intrigues me a bit, but that's about it.

Looked up a couple of comparisons between the Pats, and the Boys. After 4 weeks pretty close:
Total Yards P.G.
COWBOYS 440.8
Pats 431.8

Passing Yards
COWBOYS 288.2
Pats 282.2

Rushing Yards
Pats 157
COWBOYS 152.5

Points scored
COWBOYS 151
Pats 148

Points Allowed
Pats 48
COWBOYS 72

Pretty compariable, Neither has really played anyone, hopefully both teams will hold serve this week, so we can see what we can see in week 6

The 151 points is only the 3rd highest in Team history after 4 games for the Cowboys.

The Pats are the 1st Team in the Modern Era to outscore their opponents by over 20 points per game in their 1st 4 games.........

Close except points allowed. New England's defense has been a lot more stingy than the Cowboys.

I have never been a fan of 3-4 fronts like Dallas is running this year. Without a big push up front it buys QBs more time to throw, which puts more pressure on linebackers to provide good pass coverage underneath and with an average of 220 passing yards against per game this year it stands out like a sore thumb in Dallas' stats.

Defense wins ball games - if they can't score against us they can't win - that's what I preach to my senior squad.

Numbers wise the Pats have given up an average of 12 points a game year to date. The Cowboys have given up an average of 18 points. The Pats have given up an average of 226 yards against per game, while the Cowboys have given up an average of 300 per game.

The delta between those numbers is pretty large. For the Cowboys to be a contender against top flight teams from the AFC they are going to have to tighten up their D, or it isn't going to be pretty.

We went 2 and 0 in the pre-season and now we're 2 and 0 in the regular season as well.

My D has only given up 6 points year to date.

In last week's game we won 42-0 and we had the ball on the 2 yard line with 1 minute left and took 3 knees to end the game because it was the right thing to do. In that same game my guys had 4 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions, 6 sacks and held our opponent to -18 yards.

out fucking standing!

We won 66 - 20 on Friday against yet another team picked to beat us. 2 fumble recoveries - one for a touchdown, a safety, 1 interception, and held them to 11 yards in 11 carries on the ground

This all included a goal line stand on the 3 yard line where we stuffed them 4 plays in a row. We scored two plays later and 6 man ball has a 45 point mercy rule - game over with 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

We moved up 10 spots in the rankings this week.

I lost my voice from yelling four weeks ago and I never get it back. I love coaching!

Tell your guys Austin NYOS wants them to go undefeated this year.

What does NYOS stand for?

I think we could get creative here and hook the teams up as international "twin" football teams kind of like cities do with each other. Do you want to do something like that on facebook?

Seriously?

Is there a specific intent/meaning to that name?
