Yea thats the only bad thing about the NFL .. The chance for a life threatening injury is always present but usually not this bad . I hope he can make a full recovery but the initial reports do not look optimistic ..

Very sad news for Kevin & his family Like, MLC, seeing him drop to the turf -- it was obvious the kid was hurt bad. Hoping for a miracle for him.

It amazed me how innocent the hit looked, and how it can cause so much damage. We where always told to keep your head, put your head to the down side of the runner and not to use it like a spear. Unfortunately do to the nature of the game this all fly's out the window under the heat of battle. This coming from one who has been carried off the field to many times. Hope that all turns out well for Mr. Everett best of luck man!!
Bradshaw recovered from a bad one...hope he can as well.
