Chris Carr and the BUB Racing team have done it again. Carr piloted the BUB Racing Streamliner Seven to a new motorcycle land speed record of 367.382 mph yesterday on the Bonneville Salt Flats at the Land Speed Shootout promoted by Mike Cook. The record is pending ratification by the FIM, but until then Carr has bragging rights once again as the fastest man on two wheels.
Carr shot over the salt with an average speed of 367 mph on his first pass over the recorded mile, with an astounding 372 mph exit speed. He was able to match the blistering pace on his return run to for his unofficial average of 367.382 mph. In the course of the two runs, he clocked an incredible 380 mph top speed.
