Speed Around The Klocks

Among the veterans (the Salt Dogs) quite a few Custom Builders from different countries ready to show the world that they know how to tune their machines to run-in and very fast. Among them, the largest crew of racers is the Klocks Werks Team with not less than 15 people (add me for encouragements), 6 bikes and 4 racers! But the most beautiful part of the 2009 Klocks Bonneville Story is 1- Brian’s wife Laura Klocks , already holding a world speed record in the bagger class will pursue tomorrow another one in the PP-2000 class with a stock Victory Vision. 2- That youngest daughter Karlee Cobb, only 15 years old will go for the record on a Buell Blast in the class MPS-PG 500. Karlee was last year in Bonneville the youngest female to ever set 2 world records!!! 3- That second daughter Erika Cobb, 18 years old will race a 2003 Buell XB9 in the class P-PG 1000. Mother & 2 daughters are the 1st ever trio to set Bonneville records in the same year at a sped event. And there is more, Michelle Mielke, wife of Klocks Werks main man Joe Mielke is also going for the maximum speed on a 02 Yamaha Road Warrior. Will tell you more about her in a next post.
