That is very interesting considering that most folks change the exhaust and breather just as soon as they get the scooter. According to what he is saying in the article, the gains are meager compared with the cash investment not to mention that the bike needs to be remapped (for EFI)or tuned (he did mention some carb tweaks). With recent gains in stock HP and torque, the percentage of gain by changing the exhaust and the air cleaner almost do not seem worthwhile and at best these mods would be only asthetic.

interesting read SM. thanks
give all the aftermarket boys another year or two and we might see better gains on the 96 inch motor. at least i hope so if and when i'm in the market for a newer bike.
