Default Lifters

Not long ago, I did allot of work on my engine and installed a set of Fueling Racing Lifters. When the bike got hot, they sounded like an old solid lifter race car and made allot of noise. I pulled them out last week and put a set of stock harley "B" lifters back in the bike, rode it hard last weekend and the Harley lifters are quiet as a Church mouse. Sometimes the high dollar stuff is not all it is cracked up to be........ Hope this will help someone...

I have the hydro-solid lifters from Rev Perf along with 650/650 cams in the bad 124", and Holy Crap, this machine does make some noise fer sure. The 1.67:1 ratio roller rockers create a bit more tension too.

Lots o valve train noise in this beast.
