Thousands of riders are expected to take part in a protest ride against North Wales Police between Caerwys and Snowdonia

THOUSANDS of disgruntled motorcyclists, angry with North Wales Police, for what they believe is harassment, are to ride en mass to Snowdonia in protest.

North Wales Police have been cracking down on illegal riders in an effort to reduce the number of motorcycle deaths in North Wales.

Since Easter this year marked and unmarked police cars and motorcycles have been deployed to tackle unlawful riding in the area, stopping about 400 riders each weekend.
