WOOD LAKE - Almost 40 years ago, Dennis Naab of Wood Lake saw a 1965 Harley-Davidson ElectraGlide along a street in the Twin Cities.
"I was down in the Cities, and I seen it sitting along there," Naab said. "I pulled in and bought her." Nearly 45 years old, the pan head Harley-Davidson ElectraGlide Naab bought now has a little more than 24,000 miles on it. And all the parts are original, Naab said. Recently, Naab's son Steve rode the Harley in the Minneota Memorial Run, a bike he wouldn't trade for anything. Naab wasn't sure if the ElectraGlide was on Como Avenue in St. Paul when he first saw it, but he does remember the day. "I bought it on July 23, 1970," Naab said.
