Default Crazy World

My son lives in suburban DFW. In a nice town, Corinth, TX. His neighbor two doors down was shot at the local park with her 3 year old and 4 month old. Supposedly a 45ish white guy shot her and broke her jaw. He turned himself in and was eye witness identified. Her husband had just ran home to get a battery and when he got back she had been shot. Robbery is the assumed motive at this time. Crazy world.

My son, my daughter-in-law, and my granddaughter were in their back yard less than a quarter of a mile away when it happened.

senseless random violence seems to be on the rise these days and it happens in the best of neighborhoods. criminals are getting more and more brazen all the time. we had a shooting here on saturday morning. 2 gunmen walked into a denny's at 9am and killed a cook during a robbery. it took a lot of balls/stupidity to rob a place on a busy saturday morning in front of almost 100 witnesses. they were caught and identified but it is more evidence that it can happen anywhere. chp's are on the rise here because folks are getting paranoid with this kind of violence.

i'm glad your family were safe at home.

i'm dont mean to hijack this thread but here goes.

there is a lot more news out on the denny's shooting here last saturday. it appears there were 4 gunmen with pistols and rifles involved. 2 have been captured so far and have ms-13 ties. "503" carved into their hair and ms-13 tats. ms-13 activety in albuquerque is bad news, very bad news.
