The Missouri State Legislature has sent a bill to the Governor that would allow riders 21 and older to ride all Missouri roads without a helmet except for Interstate Highways.

I still want to know who the hell falls off their bike on the interstate?!? LMAO
Already seen the bitching about it across the net. With a gazillion miles of twisties .. I'm guessing the interstate is the lease of the MO riders issues when it comes to safety. Not to mention thats almost specifically why the MSF teaches all they do at slow speeds/curves/turns. Yo tax dollars at work 'eh? |

I haven't heard a good explanation about the interstate. I just assumed it has to do with the higher allowed speeds on the interstate. I haven't known anything but wearing a helemt so I don't know how comfortable I would be without one. It would be nice to have the choice though if I wanted to go without.

Totally agree - its better to be able to have the choice to go without.
I was just smacking my forehead after first reading it .. like I mentioned .. most of the accidents I've read about in MO are all on twisty roads just like Arkansas. Not really on the interstates. |

I can see both points of view with this one. I would love to have the choice to wear one or not but honestly would go with one for the most part. I enjoy riding without one but more from habit i guess
